I love Your Yoga for what it does for me and our community’s health and well-being. Yoga has helped me handle life stresses through breathwork, stretching and sweating it out in the infrared heated studio. Although I had occasionally done yoga since I was pregnant with my first child, my practice began in earnest about four years ago (at the age of 50). I’ve been practicing at the studio since they opened and it wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say it’s like a second home to me. They have a fantastic range of classes to suit all levels. The welcoming atmosphere of the studio – especially the Earth Room – is an immediate calming influence. I can’t say enough about the wonderful teachers and team. It’s really a special place. I highly recommend this studio to anyone with an interest in gaining the incredible benefits – physical, spiritual, and social – a practice of yoga can provide.

The team has created a space that honours the established yoga community in North Burnaby. This is no fast-paced, pump people in and out franchise; they genuinely get to know and care about the yogis that come through the door. I've been attending since they opened the studio in Dec 2020, mid pandemic. Your Yoga was determined to keep yoga accessible and available wherever and however they could. Throughout, they diligently followed ever changing government regulations, I felt safe all the way through.


The studio is gorgeous, with unique natural features, like hemp walls. The main studio is spacious, the change room is huge, complete with showers and lockers. There is an amazing variety of classes. I love that the Your Yoga team allows the instructors to teach their own practice as opposed to following some franchise model of doing the exact same sequence over and over and over. I love the traditional Indian classes, the Sat morning Power Flow and the Sunday morning Hot Core Flow.


I'm so grateful that the studio was able to make it through all the restrictions and I genuinely feel like a valued student.
